Hyles-Anderson College of the Philippines is focused on one goal:

We are not a school to train men and women how to make money but, rather, how to make disciples.  We want to equip the man of God with the Word of God so that he can be what he is supposed to be and so that he can do God’s calling.  With that in mind, we offer the following courses of study to those who attend Hyles-Anderson College of the Philippines.

PASTORAL CERTIFICATE (men only)

This certificate of study is for those men who are already serving God in the pastorate and would like to further their education without leaving their existing ministry.  Classes are offered one week per month, and, upon completing 24 credit hours, a pastor may receive a 1-Year Pastor’s Certificate.  Upon completion of 48 credit hours, a pastor may receive a 2-Year Pastor’s Certificate.  If a pastor decides he wants to continue his education further, those credits may be applied toward one of the degrees listed below.

PASTORAL THEOLOGY DEGREE (men only)

For students meeting the requirements, a bachelor of science degree with a major in Pastoral Theology will be granted. This course of study will equip the student to be able to successfully pastor a New Testament Baptist church.  He will learn the fundamental Bible doctrines as well as practical training in the areas of soul winning, discipleship, preaching, teaching, finances, church planting, and other profitable instruction to allow him to lead a congregation to be a thriving, Christ-honoring church.

MISSIONS DEGREE (men only)

For students meeting the requirements, a bachelor of science degree with a major in Missions will be granted.  This course of study runs parallel with the Pastoral Theology course with an emphasis on training the missionary to be prepared to deal with the unique challenges that come with planting a Gospel-preaching ministry in a foreign nation. We believe that missionaries are in every way as much a pastor as the pastors who send them, and we do not leave out any vital teaching necessary for a missionary to lead a New Testament Baptist church on the mission field.

MARRIAGE AND MOTHERHOOD (ladies only)

For lady students meeting the requirements, a bachelor of science degree with a major in Marriage and Motherhood will be granted.  This course of study will give ladies most of the foundational classes that the men receive, but where classes apply specifically to men, alternate courses for women will be given that will allow our ladies to learn how to be better wives and mothers and to perform the duties that are often delegated to the ladies of the church.  The goal is to teach our ladies to be the help meet for their husbands that God intends for them to be, so that the preachers we train are able to better serve God.  Keeping the home and training children are also topics that will be taught.
